My Review

We all love highlighters, don't we? There comes a new highlighter in the market and we need to get our hands on it. I am a highlighter hoarder myself. However, rarely I find a highlighter that I like. My definition of the perfect highlighter is all glow no shimmer. I don't know why, but I dislike chunks of glitter in my highlighter.

When I got this highlighting palette I had very high expectations. Revlon is a good drugstore brand and it often comes with great products. This highlighter is not a new release, it is fairly old, but recently I have gotten my hands on it. The packaging is regular black plastic packaging with clear lid. Shuts securely and is travel-friendly. It is available in three shade options.

The highlight powder has a smooth texture, but is a bit chalky and has a kick back. It has five different shades, a white one, two rosy ones and two bronze colors. I liked the white highlighter shade, but it is less pigmented as compared to other ones and hard to work with, The two rosy shades can be used as blush or blush toppers if you are into shimmery blushes.

You can use the bronze shades as bronzers if you like shimmery bronzers. Personally, I don't like any shimmer on my face except highlighter, so I don't see myself using them. If you brush across all shades, you get a nice bronzey color that you can use to warm up your complexion.

The way I see myself using this palette is as eyeshadows. They look beautiful on the eyes whether used dry or wet. You can find it for around 1000-1500Rs sold at different online stores. I don't think it is an absolute must buy, there are many other good products in the beauty world that are far better and cheaper than this. So, I will say to save your bucks and invest in something else.

Did you like this post? What Revlon product do you like? Which highlighter is your personal favourite? Don't forget to comment.
