Today i am reviewing Maybelline foundation and concealer from the fit me range. Now the fit me range has further two categories. The dewy and smooth one‚ and the matte and poreless one. The dewy+smooth one is for normal to dry skin and matte+poreless one is for combination to oily skin. Since i have a very dry skin i went with the Maybelline Fit Me dewy+ smooth foundation and concealer. The fit me range of maybelline has the slogan "Let's the real you come through". The Fit Me range of Maybelline has foundation‚concealer‚face powder and blushes. All of the Maybelline Fit Me range products coordinate with each other. If you buy a foundation or concealer and need some other product from the range you don't have to search it online to find which shades will look flattering on you. With every product the Maybelline site and store displays provides a chart through which you can find your perfect match in concealer and face powder as well.

The maybelline fit me foundation has 3 categories. Light‚ medium and dark. Foundations starting from 1 are in category light‚ those which start from 2 are in medium and foundations starting from 3 are in category dark. So you can easily find your foundation shade. Each category has further 6 foundation shades in it.

Similarly the Fit Me concealer comes in 6 different shades with 2 concealers for each category light‚medium and dark.

Apply to spots, blemishes & dark circles. The concealer uses similar technology to the foundation so you can cover imperfections seamlessly. There are 6 shades that coordinate with the foundation shades.

Maybelline Fit Me foundation comes in glass packaging. The packaging is quite great for the price. It has a pump so it is easy and hygienic to take the foundation out of the bottle. The fit me foundation has faint moisturiser smell which is not quite detectable. The foundation bottle contains 30ml of product which will last you a long time. The Maybelline fit me foundation is very travel friendly.

Maybelline Fit Me concealer comes in plastic lip gloss styled packaging. It has a doe foot applicator. The concealer has no scent at all. It contains 6ml of product. And is very travel friendly.

My favourite makeup tool to apply this concealer(Beauty Blender)

This foundation is amazing. And i can actually say that it is the first product that i bought about which everyone raves and it is worth every Rupees. The shade i got is in 220. Which is a perfect match for MAC nc35. I am somewhat between nw20 to 30 at different times of the year. Though i should have got this foundation in 210 which would have been my perfect summer match but i was afraid it might be too light. So i went with shade 220 which as you can see is a little darker then my complexion. But i prefer buying a slight darker shade then the lighter one. This foundation since blends in with your skin color so after a while it looks my perfect match. But once i will finish this bottle i will go with shade 210. The shade 220 in natural beige is a light to medium shade with yellow/beige undertones. It is little yellow for my face but since i have a cool toned face(the naturally blushed face :P) and warm toned body it matches my neck and rest of the body nicely.


The fit me foundation has creamy smooth texture. It blends like a dream. Coverage wise it has sheer to medium coverage as it claims. It is very build able. But since i don't have much imperfections single layer of this foundation is enough for me. I have wore this foundation using both a beauty blender and a brush. It works great both ways. Finish wise it has a very satiny-dewy finish. It doesn't feels tacky on your face if you are some one with dry skin. It does blends to the color of your complexion and gives a very natural looking finish. It doesn't sits on your skin instead it sinks in to give a very natural look. Your skin don't feel suffocated with this foundation. The foundations lasts me good 6 to 8 hours without fading but after that it fades away from my T-zone but the fading isn't patchy. It fades evenly. It is my go to foundation in both summer and winter. In summer my skin is quite normal where as in winter i am very dry so all you have to do is moisturise your face before hand because it tends to look a little cakey if your skin is not moisturised. It doesn't clog pores and covers any redness or discolouration you might have without the need of a concealer. This is a great everyday foundation. And i prefer this over my BB creams. Just apply it lightly with a damp beauty blender and you are good to go. It has an SPF18 in it so you don't need to apply a sunscreen or moisturiser with SPF underneath it. The foundation doesn't gives flash back in pictures.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

The concealer i got is in shade 25 medium. It is a tad bit darker for my complexion but i already have alot of concealers lighter then my complexion so i wanted a concealer for any pimples you get occasionally and the days when i have bad under eye circles. This concealer is a very peachy undertone so is great for those dark under eye circles. Texture wise it has a very creamy texture but thicker then the fit me foundation. It gives medium to full coverage without looking cakey or setting in your fine lines. It blends smoothly and is good concealer shade for medium complexions. It lasts me upto 10 hours until i remove my makeup. You don't need to set this concealer if you don't want to since it doesn't creases. It has a satin finish and blends in nicely with my foundation shade 220. Since the match suggested to me by the ladies at the counter was 20 sand. So i will buy the concealer in that shade too for slight under eyes and face highlighting.
