Today i am reviewing Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume Mascara. There are many Maybelline mascara's in the market‚ So its hard to choose one. After reading some reviews online on different Maybelline mascara's i finalised to buy this one. It claimed to give great volume without clumping and i love my mascara's to be volumizing. Read below what i have to say about this mascara.

Product Description

Our double curved stem is designed to deposit an extra hit of volume onto the brush. Lashes look supercharged. No clump formula.

The mascara comes in a yellow plastic packaging with pink writing on it. There are two versions of this mascara in the market. I have the non waterproof one. The mascara wand is huge with natural bristles. The formula is neither too thick nor too thin and the packaging contains 9.5ml of product.

Firstly i want to mention here that as you can see in the pictures my mascara looks crumbly and dry. Its not the fault of mascara‚ its my fault. Because i have this mascara over 7 months now and its totally dried up. Where as mascara are good to use for only upto 6 months. I wanted to review this mascara that's why i still have it. Now back to review. OK so i need to mention this here that as you can see i have good lower lashes but my upper lashes are quite average. They have their natural curl and length but they are quite thin. So i prefer mascara's which will give me good volume without clumping my lashes. Which is exactly what this mascara claims. It gives me good volume with minimal clumping‚ it holds the curl nicely but in the picture below i haven't curled my lashes so you can see depending on how you apply it it give a little curl to your lashes which lasts all day.

Without mascara

How i apply my mascara is that i clean the extra product from the tip of mascara wand and apply it on my lashes in wiggling motion from the lash line to the tip of the lashes. That way it gives me maximum volume without clumping. I get the desired affect with single coat so i apply the second coat rarely. With the second coat it does start to clump a little. It lasts me good 8-10 hours without smudging and when you want to remove it‚ it is easily removable with a makeup wipe or makeup remover. The only flaw i think it has is that while applying mascara you have to be careful because of the big wand it can be all over your eyelids and under eye area. Secondly it dried up quickly like in less than 6 months. Though i would have used it maximum for 40 times. I have other drugstore mascara which i have for over a year now and they still work as good as the day i bought them.Overall the mascara gives good volume‚ good lengthing‚ doesn't smudges‚lasts long and also hold the curl nicely. I would say this is one of the good mascara from the Maybelline.

It is a good mascara so i definitely recommend this. Since i am in a process of trying new mascara's i might not repurchase it. But if i wont find any good mascara i know i will come back to this one. I purchased mine from just4girls for Rs1100. You can shop it from just4girls or any store near you selling Maybelline products. If you are not from Pakistan you can get this from target or drugstore.com.
