I haven't posted any review for a week because if you are following me on my page World Through The Eyes Of A Makeupholic you will know i wasn't feeling well.Now that i am alright its time to write some reviews. Today i am reviewing my favourite lip care product other then my lip balm which is my most favourite. E.L.F Lip Exfoliator was a life saver for me since i have very dry chapped lips all year round and if i wear any kind of matte lipsticks they look flaky on my lips. Lip balm does moisturise your lips but it doesn't removes the dead skin on your lips. For that a lip exfoliator always comes handy. Before this i haven't tried any lip exfoliator before. Read below what i have to say about this product.

The Elf lip exfoliator comes in a lipstick form. It has a sleek black casing which gives a very high end feel. It comes in the shade clear which is the only shade available. It contains 4.4g of product and has a slight sugary oil scent . It is very travel friendly.

By nature i am a very lazy person and so are most of the girls of my generation. We find it hard to search home remedies on the Internet‚ go to kitchen‚ find the ingredients and mix and match them to create a product which will give us skin care benefits. What we prefer is something quick and easy which will not even require us to move from our bed. So one day while i was sitting on my bed searching for most raved about products i came across E.L.F lip exfoliator. It looked a very promising product and since it wasn't too expensive as compared to other lip scrubs i ordered it right away. The second i received it i followed the directions on the back of the packaging which is “Apply to clean, damp lips and massage in a circular motion to exfoliate. Use a moistened cotton pad with water to gently wipe away scrub. Follow with a lip balm or gloss to condition". I exfoliated my lips directly with the lip exfoliator for good 1 minute. In the start when you first open the lip exfoliator it has this hard layer which feels very rough on your lips. So to avoid your lips from scratches dent it a little with you nail or a sharp object. After that its use become very easy. My first experience using this lip exfoliator was a total surprise since i had never used any lip scrub or exfoliator before and my lips had layers and layers of dead skin. When i finally cleaned it off with a wet makeup wipe my lips felt very soft and looked so rosy like i had totally new lips.



I would say this is my all in one lip care treatment though i do advice you to moisturise your lips afterwards with a lip balm and while you are wiping off the exfoliator from your lips i would suggest cleaning it thoroughly or otherwise it will feel greasy on your lips. You will tempt to lick it off and girls do since it has sweet taste but since it has warning written for external use only i would suggest you not to lick it off. I use it once or twice a week depending upon how dry my lips are..but whenever you will plan to wear matte lipsticks and you have very dry lips i suggest you to exfoliate before hand. As you can see clearly in the before image my lips are looking very dry and chapped. But in after image they look plum and rosy with no dead skin. I have applied a little lip balm in the after image but it is not a tinted one. The shine you can see is because of the lip balm. As you can see i have used quite alot of product. But i have used it only 10-15 times. So i would say you can get about 20 to 25 uses out of it depending upon for how long you scrub it on your lips. But once you remove the hard layer at the top the product will get wasted a little every time you will use it. For the price i think it is totally worth it. Even if you don't have that much dry lips but you need this in your life for occasional exfoliation of your lips because like your face your lips need to be exfoliated too.

I would say this is a absolute necessity in my lip care routine. I definitely recommend this lip exfoliator to everyone. And since i am running out of it. I will definitely purchase this again.
