The paste has a slimy green texture and it dries down green or white depending on how thick layer you apply. If you apply a thin layer of mask on your face, it dries down white and resembles the texture of white wash. The thin layer is hard to take off and only comes off if you use hot water and scrubbing action simultaneously. 

The thick layer dries down green and it peels off easily, so you don't need the extra effort. I apply the mask on my face for 10-15 minutes or unless it is dry. Inoface has advised using this mask as the last step of your skincare regime and it helps in giving the last layer of moisture to your skin. 

I have very dry and sensitive skin, the mask of such kind either over dry my skin or cause me an allergic reaction, but nothing happened with this mask. It cleaned my skin nicely making it feel baby soft and supple, no dry patches at the end of the mask and no allergic reaction.
