Today i am reviewing MUA Heaven and Earth Eyeshadow Palette. About 2-3 years ago when MUA products started to be known by Pakistani Beauty Bloggers the most raved about MUA product was its eyeshadow palettes. Specially the Heaven And Earth one. But it was always out of stock everywhere. I really wanted to try this palette for long just to test out that “ Is it that good". So finally when my sister gifted me this i was really excited to try this out. Read below what i have to say about this palette.

Product Description

The MUA heaven and earth eyeshadow palette is available in black plastic packaging with transparent lid. The palette is light‚ compact and sturdy but not the best quality packaged palette out there. But you really get what you pay for. It is a 12 pan eyeshadow palette and appropriate for travelling. It comes with an applicator which you can use to pack on eyeshadow. It contains 9.6g of product.

My Review

I know i am probably the last person to review this palette. But since its now available everywhere i thought its not too late to tell people if its worth it or not. I have reviewed MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Poptastic before. The first thing i did when i got this palette was to swatch all the shades on my hand. That's what i usually do with every makeup product i get. The first thing i noticed was that how smooth and buttery the formula of the eye shadows were. That's what is very rare to find in affordable eye shadows. The second thing i noticed was‚ Wow! No mattes :P if you know me‚ you know i love my mattes. And its actually hard for me to do any eye look without bringing out atleast one matte shade. So if you are a 100% matte eyeshadow lover you might not like this palette.

The shades are all very earthy and neutral shades and perfectly complements its name “ Heaven and Earth". You can easily create from light neutral day appropriate eye looks to the deep smokey festive looks from this palette. I wont say all shades are glittery or shimmery but instead they are very wearable satin formula and few eye shadows with some shimmer. I have travelled with this eyeshadow palette but i must say its very sturdy. Shuts securely so i didn't had the fear of it opening in the bag and the eye shadows didn't got damaged either. The eye shadows have minimal to no fall out which is again a plus point. The pigmentation of these eye shadows is superb. With a few duds‚ but the duds are not completely bad you can easily make them work by using a primer and packing them on. The top row are all good shades with good pigmentation. Where as the bottom row has 2 complete duds and out of rest 4 eye shadows 2 are pigmented and other two are not so.

These eye shadows have good staying power of around 6 hours and don't crease if you use primer underneath. Though the lighter shades tend to disappear after 2-3 hours. So i will definitely suggest using a primer underneath to avoid creasing‚ making the eye shadows last longer and for making already pigmented eye shadows a one step further pigmented. Although these shadows are very pigmented but you can easily blend out these to create perfect eye looks. The applicator is not useless at all‚ you can use it to pack on shade. If you find these shades too neutral for your taste you can bring some bold shades like MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Poptastic to mix n match with this palette.

Aurora

It is the lightest shade in the palette. It is a champagne color eyeshadow with some shimmer specks in it. It is definitely one of the pigmented shades and you can use it to highlight you brow bone‚ inner corner or even your face.

Amazonian Bronze

It is a beautiful bronze shade as the name says. It has very fine shimmery specks and it gives a metallic sheen. Perfect shade for your crease while creating bronzed eye looks.

It is a beautiful copper color. It is a very pigmented eyeshadow and gives a metallic sheen. Perfect for copper smokey eyes.

It is a pale pink shadow with tiny specs of shimmer. It looks more beige in the pan while applied it looks more pink. It is less pigmented as compared to aurora.

It is a deep purple bronzed shade with some shimmer in it. Its a very pigmented shade.

It is a golden beige shade. It will work perfectly as a lid color. It is a satin shade with no shimmer.

Rift

It is a medium bronze shade. It looks alot like the amazonian bronze but little less deeper. It is one of the slightly less pigmented shade and is less shimmery.

It is a pretty beige shade with hint of gold. Its very chalky as compared to other shades and also less pigmented.

It is a beautiful rose gold shade. It has beautiful metallic sheen and perfect for highlighting. It needs to be build up to show on your eyes.

It is a dusty brown shade which looks almost matte. Its the least pigmented shade of the palette and applies quite patchy.

It is a coppery brown shade. A very pigmented shadow with less shimmer.

It is a bronzed brown shade and looks quite metallic. It has some shimmer and is a pigmented shade.
