The mua lipsticks come in a sleek black packaging with the brand name MUA written on the cap in silver. It contains a small sample of lipstick in a clear pot that is present at the bottom of lipsticks which you can unscrew and use that to apply the lipstick with a lip brush. Because of the clear pot at bottom of lipsticks you can easily find the lipstick in your makeup stash. The lipsticks contain 3.8g of product. The lipsticks have a faint chemical smell which is not too offensive. The packaging is neither too cheap nor too good. But you can carry it in your purse without the fear of it opening. So i will say it is travel friendly.

My Review

Again i would say beauty bloggers made me buy it. After reading so many impressive reviews about these lipsticks i bought them at once. I went with two shades 01 and 16. When i received my package i was too excited to try these. But when i finally applied it on my lips i was shocked for a second. I thought maybe accidentally i got a copy of MUA lipsticks. But then i remembered these are Rs 260 only would you need to make a copy of such a cheap product already? The reason i thought it was a copy because everyone was raving about it. But when i applied it‚ it would apply patchier. It took me 5 coats to apply it evenly and still it was patchy. Pigmentation wise it is fine‚ you can build the intensity as you will like. But it has a flaw if you do multiple coats‚ because when i try to smack my lips it leaves a white line on my lips. These lipsticks have a very creamy formula and have a glossy finish. These are neither drying nor hydrating because they just sit on the top layer of your lips. They don't sink in or stick to your lips that's why they stay on your lips for 2-3 hours hardly. After that they will vanish completely. They do emphasise any dryness and fine lines on your lips. I don't hate this product but i don't necessarily like it either. Because there are so many good quality lipsticks in market with a price little more then these that i would say its better to buy a single good quality lipstick instead of 2 MUA lipsticks. If i still have to choose i will say i find the shade 01 better then shade 16 nectar.

It is a very beautiful berry blood red color. It will complement most skin tones. It is a perfect shade for fall/winter.

It is a very bright peachy/orange shade. It will not suit many complexions. If you are some one with deep skin tone and peachy colours complement you‚ then you should definitely go with this shade. It is very spring/summer appropriate.

I would recommend you these if any of the pros will work for you. I would definitely not purchase these again or any other shades. Since there are already alot of lipstick brands that i love. I got mine from just4girls for Rs260 only. You can shop whole range of mua products from there. If you are someone not from Pakistan you can shop these from MUA for 1£.
