Hello everyone,

I hope you all are well. Today I am going to discuss the homemade masks that have worked for me over the years and work for everyone that I recommend to. As you all know buying masks from the stores can sometimes turn out to be very expensive in the pocket and there are chances they won't work for your skin. The masks I am going to recommend work 100% for every skin type and I assure you that it won't turn out to damage your skin.

Honey and Sugar Mask

This is one of the most popular homemade masks out there. I think almost everyone knows about this mask. It is one of the most effective 2 in 1 mask that acts as a scrub and a mask. The results are instant and the ingredients are easily available in every household. You need equal amounts of honey and sugar. I usually opt for brown sugar but you can definitely use white sugar. Two tablespoons of each are enough for one time use. Mix the ingredients and add a half teaspoon of lemon juice. Adding essential oils for added benefits is optional.

Apply the mask to your face, neck, hand area or wherever you want to use it. I have very sensitive skin so girls with sensitive skin can definitely use it. Leave on the mask for ten minutes. Then remove it with warm water while using scrubbing motions. You will instantly see that your skin has brightened and feels hydrated. Honey has healing properties and also is great for hydration. Sugar acts as a scrub to remove impurities and excess oils from your skin. Lemon acts as a bleaching agent to brighten your skin. You can use this mask twice a week.

Honey and Cinnamon Mask

This is another mask that a lot of you must have heard about. This mask is great for acne prone skin and spot treatment of pimples and breakouts. I get occasional pimples a lot, so I am always looking for good remedies and this mask is by far my favourite one. Since I have very sensitive skin, so I will recommend you all use it just as a spot treatment if you have sensitive skin otherwise, you can use it on your whole face.

To make this mask you will need a 1/4th proportion of cinnamon to honey. I mix one tablespoon of honey to half teaspoon of cinnamon powder and apply it to my problem area for 10 to 30 minutes. You can take the mask off using warm water. You can use it on a daily basis, but usually, pimples fade away in 2-3 uses. This mask will be really helpful for oily skin, but people with all skin types can use it.

Honey and Whole Wheat Flour Mask

This mask is very less known by people and it is kind of my self-invented mask. This mask is great for removing dead skin, peach fuzz, impurities, heal your skin, unclog your pores and also brighten your skin. This is again a 2 in 1 product, mask and a scrub. I mostly use this mask before special occasions to prep my skin for smooth makeup application.

To make this mask you will need equal parts of honey, milk and whole wheat flour. I mix two teaspoons of milk and whole wheat flour to one teaspoon of honey. Mix all the ingredients and the mixture resembles like cake dough. Apply it to your face and let it sit for half hour and then remove this mask using scrubbing motions with warm water. You will be left with baby soft skin and you can use this twice a week.

Note; Pictures are taken from google since I am too ill to take proper pictures.
