I hope you all are doing well. Today i am going to do a review on Beauty Uk Gel Eyeliner in Jet Black. It is from the newly launched collection of Beauty Uk Cosmetics in Pakistan‚ where as in Uk it is available since early 2015. This liner was a gift from my sister including many other things. So its been 5 months since i have this eyeliner and i can say i have used it enough to have my final opinion about it. Read below what i have to say about Beauty Uk Pro Gel Eyeliner.

Product Description

As the description says the gel liner comes in a round frosted glass pot with black plastic lid. On the lid Beauty Uk Pro Gel Eyeliner is written and on the back of the pot the Eyeliner shade. It comes with a small precision brush which isn't that small. If you try hard to smell the gel liner‚ it has a faint stationary eraser smell. The lid screws on tightly and you can easily throw it in your beauty bag for travelling.

Personally i am someone who was very afraid to use Gel Liners. Because no matter where i read or ask anyone‚ they would say that for liquid liner users Gel Liners are a tough job. Since i had been using liquid liners all my makeup life‚ to be honest i wasn't that good at it either :P One day i finally decided to buy a Gel Liner and a brush and try it out. Though creating a perfect wing isn't easy and needs alot of practise and after watching about dozens of “How to Apply A Perfect Winged Liner" videos and 3-4 fail attempts at creating one i finally got hold of it. Now the difficult part was done‚ easy part was to keep it smudge free and long lasting. The Gel Eyeliner i had would smudge in seconds‚ thanks to the humidity we have in Pakistan and P.S i sweat alot :P So my sis was kind enough to gift me the Beauty Uk Gel Eyeliner to try it out. Initially when i opened the pot‚ the Gel Liner was very creamy but not as creamy or liquidy my other Gel liner was. It applied smoothly and is very pigmented. It is one of the blackest black eyeliner out there. But now after using it for 5 months its a bit drier now. And i know Gel liners don't last that long‚ like my other liner dried up in 3 months and is as hard as rock. But Beauty Uk Gel Eyeliner is better‚ it is still easy to use.

I have used it on a couple of weddings and it lasts very long without smudging. The gel liner doesn't dries up in seconds as it claims but you have to wait a minute or two before it becomes completely transfer proof. It is waterproof to some extent But yes if you will make it come in contact with water or oil or rub your eyes‚ it may break up and smudge‚ but otherwise it will last you good 6 to 8 hours. The thing i hate about liquid liners is that during the day they become patchy and leave some areas here and there. But the Beauty Uk Pro Gel Eyeliner remains intact all day. I have very dry lids‚ but if you have very oily lids it may not last on you all day.

Now come to the fun part about Beauty Uk Eyeliner. We have a view about the applicators and brushes that usually come with beauty products. That they are completely useless‚ but not in this case. The precision brush‚  the Beauty Uk Gel Eyeliner comes with is totally use able. It creates the perfect winged line as thick or as thin you want. So when i am travelling with this Gel Liner i don't feel the need of getting an extra eyeliner brush. This brush works fine. Although the brush is  little smaller then your regular brush but it fits easily even in bigger hands. Now the tricky part is to take this Gel liner off. If you use oil based cleanser its fine then‚ but otherwise with makeup removing wipes its a hard job.

I know Maybelline Drama Gel Eyeliner is Holy Grail eyeliner for many‚ but i would say this eyeliner has set the mark for me. Being a beauty blogger i keep trying out new products‚ but since i have find the Gel liner that full fills my all requirements. So now for a Gel liner to impress me‚ has to do better then Beauty Uk Pro Gel Liner.

I create my winged eyeliner in 5 easy steps. I know for many it looks a hard job but it only takes 2 minutes and concentration. If you are pro at using liquid liner but have been told that Gel liner is tough to use‚ give it a try anyway. Even if you are new to makeup‚ because gel liner is easy to apply then the liquid liner and you can apply it with more precision.

Step 1: Complete your eye makeup or if you just want to do a winged liner start with a clean base.


Step 2: Create an angled line outwards with the Gel Liner‚ from the outer part of your eye where both lids meet applying harder pressure on the point you start and flick it lightly where you want the line to end.. You can create as short or as long line you want. Similarly you can draw the line on a angle of your choice.


Step 3: Extending the line from centre of the line you created‚ join it to 1/3rd on your lid. Depending on how thick or thin line you want connect the line to your lid.


Step 4: Fill in the angled area you just created with the Gel Liner.


Step 5: Now draw a line from your inner corner towards you outer corner and connect it with the wing.


Clean up any mistakes with a q-tip. And your winged eyeliner is ready <3

Pros:

The Gel Liner is very creamy.

It is easy to apply.

The brush it comes with is very use able.

It is smudge proof.

Lasts good 6-8 hours.

Affordable.

Dries up quickly.

Note: The tip to make your Gel Liner last longer is always screw it tightly and don't let it sit there without lid for long. If they get a little dry and hard to use put some on your hand and mix it in‚ with the heat of your hand it will become smooth‚ creamy and easy to use. 

Final Verdict

I would rate it a 4.5/5.

It is a great Gel Liner for beginners and professionals out there. I definitely recommend this eyeliner. I will definitely purchase it again. You can get it for Rs790 from all stores through out Pakistan selling Beauty Uk makeup. You can also order it at just4girls.
