Elf Studio Small Stipple Brush-Review

Hi again. Today i am reviewing my first brush ever. Well honestly speaking its not my first brush ever. The blending eye brush from color studio professional was my first brush ever. But since it was a limited edition and you can not buy it anymore so no point of reviewing it. But for the record i loved that brush. Now back to my review of elf studio small stipple brush.

Product Description

Use the Small Stipple Brush to create soft layers by adding texture for a natural airbrushed result. The two layers of bristles create ultimate control from sheer to heavy coverage for small and hard to reach places. Ideal with liquid, cream or powder products, foundation, concealer, and cream blush.

My Review

Well the product description says it all. Well not exactly all or you wont be needing my review then. Back to the elf small stipple brush. The bristles on this brush are so soft. I have washed it once but it hasn't shed a single hair. The length of the handle is quite reasonable and is easy to hold. The brush as a whole gives a very high end brush feel which is a plus. Originally i bought this brush only because emily noel from beautybroadcast raves about it all the time. Since its her favourite brush and she is my favourite. I watch her videos on youtube all the time so i had to buy it. I originally bought it for cream blushes as emily says its best used for it. It does apply cream blushes beautifully. No streaks‚ don't budges the foundation underneath. It gives such a airbrush finish which looks strikingly pretty in personal and on camera too. Well one use for which people don't use this brush mostly is how perfectly it applies liquid foundations and tinted moisturisers. I have used it for both and it applies as nicely as any other kabuki foundation brush. You will be thinking its a stipple brush it wont build the coverage of foundation. But you are wrong here‚ because you can build your foundation layer by layer with this stipple brush. Other purposes i use this brush for is applying my bronzer and contour lightly so i don't apply too much. I also use it to apply my powder products including highlighter‚ blush and lose powder too. In short this elf studio small stipple brush is my all purpose brush. I prefer this over regular elf studio stipple brush because since its bristles bend while blending it wont work as good as small stipple brush whose bristles are small and don't bend while application.

Pros

Its an all purpose brush
It works great for cream products
Its inexpensive
Its great quality with minimal bristle loss.

Cons

It has some minimal fall out of products
You like regular brushes over stipple brush

Final Verdict

I would rate it a 4.5/5. I definitely recommend this great brush. Would i purchase it again? Well i don't think brushes ever get un useable. So if i will ever lose this brush i will definitely purchase it again.
